CQC rate Romford Care Home ‘Good’
We are delighted to report that one of our registered care homes in Romford has again been rated as ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Beauly Way, a home for people with learning disabilities and autism, received positive comments from Inspectors who reported that: ‘People continued to receive safe care. Risks to people were identified and there was guidance in place for staff to minimise these risks and safeguard them from abuse.’
Inspectors also noted during the unannounced inspection in January that ‘Systems were in place to ensure medicines were administered safely and when needed.’
Inspectors saw that people engaged in activities and ‘social events that they enjoyed’ and noted that: ‘The service continued to be well led. Since the last inspection, a new registered manager had been appointed to manage the service. They ensured the quality of the service was monitored regularly.’
We are delighted that Beauly Way has again received this rating, having previously been rated ‘good’ by the CQC in July 2015.
Beauly Way’s ‘good’ rating has also been featured in the Havering Yellow Advertiser.
