Single Complaints Statement

Outlook Care is pleased to fully adopt the Single Complaints Statement for adult social care providers.

The Statement was published by The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman and Healthwatch England to help care providers deal with complaints better.

It sets out best practice in receiving and dealing with comments, complaints and feedback about services.

The statement was developed by the Quality Matters initiative and aims to improve the quality and consistency of adult social care provision across the country. The statement offers a simple bulleted guide for each stage of the complaints process.

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman outlines three documents that are good practice guidance, written specifically for the following audiences:

  • Providers and Practitioners
  • People who use our services / Carers / Family / Representatives (written)
  • People who use our services (easy read format)
