Volunteers revamp garden on Royal Wedding Day
On a bright Royal Wedding morning on Saturday 19 May 2018, our regular band of First Data Resource Volunteers, along with Janice Fenner from Outlook Care’s Central Services, transformed the garden of one of our learning disability services in Barking and Dagenham.
An old, unused shed was taken down, a new vegetable patch created and lots of weeding done.
This was then followed by a tea party, arranged by Janice and accompanied by Michell Da Silva also from Central Services during the afternoon.
Customers living at the service attended, not only to celebrate the royal wedding, but the revamped garden too.
Bunting was up and party food eaten with gusto whilst everyone enjoyed the new look garden.
We thank our volunteers for visiting again and look forward to their return next year for another project.
